Neurologist

A Neurologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating brain and nervous system disorders.

Neurologists do not perform surgery, but they treat a wide variety of conditions, including brain and spinal cord injury, epilepsy, headaches, seizures, stroke, and many others. Neurologists may choose to specialize their study and practice; focus areas include headache medicine, sleep medicine, neuromuscular medicine, neurocritical care, epilepsy, vascular (stroke care) neurology, and several others.
