Neuropsychologist

Neuropsychologists are psychologists who focus on the relationship between the brain and behavior. They test and treat the psychological, behavioral, and cognitive impact of a brain injury.

Neuropsychologists focus largely on diagnosis through exams that test brain function and how that relates to symptoms the patient is experiencing. Some Neuropsychologists participate more actively in the patient's treatment team as Rehabilitation Neuropsychologists.
